Meet the Artist Behind Image Alchemy™

Lydia Piper

Lydia Piper is a project manager, facilitator, professional artist, and founder of Image Alchemy™, where she partners with business leaders to build workplace cultures where people feel genuinely seen, valued, and proud to belong.

With more than 20 years in commercial interiors as a Space & Facilities Project Manager for the Federal Judiciary, Lydia understands how environment shapes behavior, experience, and engagement. Her career has unfolded at the intersection of function and feeling—designing spaces that work while creating art that transforms how people experience them.

Through Art of Identity™ workshops, Lydia facilitates collaborative experiences that help teams uncover their authentic culture, strengthen connection, and build meaningful belonging. Her work is grounded in a core belief: culture isn’t built through top-down mandates, labels, or perks—it’s built with people, not for them.

When organizations are ready to make that culture visible, Lydia creates custom collaborative artwork—bold, stylized portraits and installations that celebrate employees and transform generic office spaces into environments that reflect the people inside them. Her signature Paparazzi Party™ experience blends team engagement with custom art creation, turning everyday moments into lasting visual reminders: This is special. This is ours.

Beyond her client work, Lydia is a gallery-represented fine artist and author with years of experience as a trainer and facilitator. She brings the structure and clarity of project management, the creative vision of a practicing artist, and the presence of an experienced educator to every engagement.

Whether leading a workshop series, facilitating a Paparazzi Party™, or creating a deeply personal commission, Lydia’s work lives at the intersection of culture, creativity, and connection. She believes art is essential—not as decoration, but as a powerful tool for building belonging, pride, and workplaces where people thrive.

A portion of every project supports a local charity of the client’s choice, reflecting Lydia’s belief that meaningful transformation should extend beyond the walls where it begins.
